Date Correction and Announcement for next week...

There has been a little confusion... I gave Greta the wrong date. The Saturday night crop is on the 20th of September, there is no Friday crop on the 19th. Call to reserve your space today!

There is so much planned for October, I just can't wait. But for now I will focus on next week. The store will close at 6:00 p.m. all week. My husband has been chosen to go to Houma for seven days to help Entergy with the recovery efforts from Gustav. This morning, when he told me he would be leaving Saturday morning... I was so mad! Not because of his job, but because I had no idea Houma was still in such rough shape! Those of you who know me very well, you know that I watch and listen to A LOT of news. Seriously, there should be a 12 step program for me (thanks, Dawn). As of last Saturday, Entergy still had half a million customers without service. This is outrageous! Just because New Orleans is not under water, the media has completely ignored the aftermath of Gustav. UGH!!!

Also, I'm sure none of you need to be reminded... but today is seven years since the attacks on our country by Islamic Extremists. Pray for the families who lost loved ones, and try to remember how you felt during that time. This is actually great scrapbook material. NEVER FORGET!!!

Little Yellow Bicycle's "FRIGHTFUL" Collection just arrived! Yippee :)

The Spiderweb Paper is actually a flocked spider web, the texture is the best part!

On the right side of the Double Dot paper are a bunch of Clear Cuts, they are little printed acrylic pieces, and on the left side of the paper are the buttons... aren't the skulls too fun?! The tabs are actually fabric stickers, and the glittler chipboard is too cute, the white scrolls are actually ghosts.

Remember... Little Yellow Bicycle does not reprint any of their product, so once it is gone I cannot get anymore.

 

Product Galore is in the Store!

Hey that rhymed!  Look at me.  I was a poet and didn't know it!  Ummm ok...let me stop before you all think i am goofy as a bed bug  {wink}.

Greta here letting you know all the new prouct Jennifer has received in the store.

This months product feature is Hambly Studios.  Jennifer has some examples in the store on display.  Hambly will kick your page up a notch and add that touch of flair to it.  personally Hambly is one of  my favorite companies.  I cannot get enough. 

This is a layout i did right before i turned 31.  I wanted to document my feelings about being the "dreaded" 30 and what i found out was 30's ROCK!  It is the new 20's {wink}.  For this layout I used quite a bit of Hambly.  The black and aqua big grid paper on the bottome half is hambly silk screen paper.  The overlay on the top i cut in half (because i like to hoard my hambly like i cannot get more) and i used it to balance out the top.  It was also my guide for the journaling.  Notice the yellow circles on the bottom right corner under the ribbon..that is also hambly as well as the strip of circles down the left side with all that layering.  the star was a piece of acrylic that i used different color alcohol inks on.  You can find the alcohol inks in the store as well.  It's my newest addiction.

This layout here Jennifer took an overlay (the yellow circles)and put it on kraft paper for her background. She then gathered her Hambly scraps and used a square punch, inked them with the cats eye inks adhered them and then used a hambly rub on down the side to tie everything together. I hope these 2 layouts will inspire you to try it. I promise it is alot of fun to work with. Also in the store is the new Halloween line.  I will be posting pics of it as soon as possible as well.

Black market Paper Society is currently stocked.  Here is a pic of the yummy papers.  The texture to these papers are to die for.

I know a lot of you probably went to Disney this summer so don't forget she has the Creative Imaginations Disney line as well which is currently in stock.
