Okay, I'm sorry. I know it's been quite a long time since you've heard from me... So let me give a little "update" on the happenings at Anthologies Scrapbook Studio. November was a fun month for me. I had an awesome get away to Birmingham to kick off the holiday season. I met some absolutely wonderful folks who I will be introducing to all of you very soon.
When Greta caught me riding this high, she was able to get me to commit to a weekend event for all of you this coming spring. The details cannot be released just quite yet, but I'm bringing in some super-talented teachers... oh, I can't wait for it all to come together... Mainly so I don't have to keep quiet!
So, what's going on around here in December? Lots and lots... here is a quick rundown...
The Teresa Collins "tis the season" collection is making for some really fun layouts, projects, and cards. This Christmas Memories layout was designed and completed in less than 5 minutes... It's just a 12x12 Scroll paper with an 8x8 sheet cut into two pieces, crossed, and glued right on top. Then I added a snip of ribbon and a few tags from this line... SO EASY!
Cristin finally got me in the spirit to make one of these banners, then I caught the bug... I have kits for this one (it says "Merry Christmas"). I also have "Sugar Plum" in bright Christmas colors, "Diva" and "Princess" in the black and pink papers from Glitz. I'm working on some baby banners that would be just perfect for baby showers, or to hang on the nursery door. I've got the basic kits, but you can custom order a name or saying... Or, you can join the "Cuttin' Up" Club here at Anthologies (I'll save those details for my next post... I've really got to get to the point with this whole December Happenings I've been talking about)
So, generally speaking... I will be open 7 days a week for the entire month of December!!! Take my normal hours of operation, then add Sundays from 1-5 p.m. You will be amazed at how much can be accomplished during those four hours... There will be a hot lunch, and holiday classes every Sunday afternoon.
Also, there will be a crop EVERY Friday AND Saturday this month... Friday nights 6-Midnight, and Saturdays Noon-8 p.m. The only "special" crop nights will the Cookie Swap and Crop nights on December 12 and 13. The Cookie Swap is going to be so much fun... I've got a lot of games and activities planned (and actually ready to go!... I'm telling y'all, I had a serious "pick me up" in Birmingham!) Please call and sign up for the Cookie Swap (either night) soon. Both nights are filling up, so call to reserve your spot. You'll need to bring:
2 Dozen Cookies
12 Copies of the Recipe on a 4x6 Card
1 Black and White Photo (any theme... it's for the 'round Robin!)

There is a lot more to talk about, so I'll make another post later. Hope you can join us at Anthologies as we celebrate the season!
